AI Adoption Readiness Questionnaire Please answer the following questions to help us understand your business needs. Your progress is saved after each phase. Your Name Company Name Email Phase 1: Business & Vision Page 1 of 4 1. Can you walk me through your business model? Who are your customers, and what problem do you solve for them? Example: “We are a B2B dyeing and printing mill. Our customers are garment manufacturers who need high-quality, custom-colored fabric.” 2. What are your primary business goals for the next 12-24 months? Example: “To reduce our chemical waste by 15%, decrease rejected batches, and improve our production speed.” 3. What makes you different from your competitors? What is your unique advantage? Example: “Our color consistency is the best in the region, and we can handle complex, multi-color prints that others can’t.” 4. If you could wave a magic wand and fix one major headache in your business, what would it be? Example: “I wish I could perfectly predict machine breakdowns before they happen, so we don’t have unexpected downtime.” Phase 2: Pains & Opportunities Page 2 of 4 5. What are the most repetitive, time-consuming, and manual tasks your team performs? Example: “Manually entering details from job orders into our production spreadsheet and then again into our accounting software.” 6. Where are the biggest bottlenecks in your process from getting a new customer to delivering your product/service? Example: “The color approval process. We send a sample, wait for the client to approve, and this can hold up the entire production line for days.” 7. How do you currently find new leads? How do you decide which ones to prioritize? Example: “Mostly from existing customer referrals. We don’t have a structured way to find or prioritize new clients.” 8. What do you wish you knew about your customers that you don’t know now? Example: “I wish I could predict which of my clients are likely to place big orders next season, so I can pre-order the right raw fabric.” 9. What are the top 3-5 most common questions your customer support team receives? Example: “‘What’s the status of my order?’, ‘When will my fabric be ready?’, ‘Can you send me a photo of the first meter for approval?'” 10. What is a critical business decision you have to make regularly where you feel you’re guessing? Example: “How much of each base dye to keep in stock. We either have too much and it expires, or we run out and delay an important job.” Phase 3: Readiness & Resources Page 3 of 4 11. What kind of data do you collect? Example: “We have paper job orders, Excel sheets for inventory, and sales data in our Tally accounting software.” 12. Where does this data live? Is it in one place or scattered? Example: “It’s all over the place. The production manager has his spreadsheets, accounting has theirs, and most job history is in filing cabinets.” 13. On a scale of 1-10, how ‘clean’ and reliable do you believe your data is? Example: “Maybe a 4 out of 10. There are often typos, and sometimes order details are missing from the spreadsheets.” 14. What key software systems do you rely on today? Example: “We use Tally for accounting, Microsoft Excel for almost everything else, and a basic design software in our design department.” 15. How tech-savvy is your team? Example: “Our younger designers are very comfortable with new software, but our experienced machine operators prefer not to use computers.” Phase 4: Expectations & Success Page 4 of 4 16. What are your biggest fears or concerns about using AI? Example: “That it will be too expensive and complicated for us, or that my experienced staff will feel threatened by it and might quit.” 17. What would a successful first AI project look like to you? Example: “If a new system could reduce our rejected fabric batches by half, that would save us a huge amount of money and be a massive win.” 18. What is a realistic budget you’re willing to explore for an initial pilot project? Example: “For a small pilot project to prove that it works, we could probably invest between $2,000 – $5,000.” Thank You! Your responses have been successfully submitted.
